• Targeting earlier in the year, with a set schedule
• Clearer volunteers and accountability, and contacts on JetBrains side
• Communications channels TBC between emails and Slack
• Need more feedback on next year’s questions (from Steering Council)
• Opportunity to find an owner outside of the Board

CLA vs. DCO for Django contributors

Django as a CNA

• We did it, we’re a CNA, and we’ve issued a couple of CVEs!
• Big ups to Jacob W and Natalia for lots of work here

Trademark renewal

• Next step: meeting with paralegal lead

2026 Board elections planning

• 19 candidates for 3 Board positions
• Some have statements too focused on technical aspects
• Almost 100 votes so far for 472 individual members

Homepage site redesign

• Marketing WG proposal

AI team for Django

• Approved unanimously
• Afi as Board liaison
• With the goal to recruit 20-30 members

Django 6.0 release marketing

• Email to FreeHive for short video

New business

Fiscal hosting for Django Commons

• Conversation with PSF staff over next few weeks on requirements & our capacity
• Consider approaching this faster and refining as we learn through it
• Guidance for Django Commons to consider temporary fiscal hosting elsewhere
• Logistical questions:
  • Bookkeeping
  • Initial and ongoing effort
  • Who could do this
  • Alignment with DSF 501(c)(3) status
